Update: May 25th – Donation Sites:  Five area malls are accepting donations of the following items: New, or gently used clothing, shoes, toys, and books; diapers and toiletries, baby food and formula, bottles and sippy cups, blankets and bedding.  These can be brought to the Chesterfield Mall center court, Mid Rivers Mall at the JC Penney Wing, St. Clair Square center court, South County Center Sears wing, and West County Center near Nordstrom lower lev

Salvation Army – The Salvation Army is supporting relief efforts in Joplin, Missouri, which was hit by a deadly tornado Sunday.

A Salvation Army emergency disaster services team based out Pittsburg, Kansas has been deployed to Joplin to help carry out mass feeding for residents and first responders through a mobile feeding kitchen capable of serving thousands of meals a day. Teams from Kirksville and Springfield, Missouri are also enroute. Financial donations to The Salvation Army disaster relief efforts may be made by texting the word ARMY to 80888 for an automatic $10 donation.
