St. Louis Housing Market Home Sales Increase by Baby Steps

Remember Dr. Marvin’s advice to Bob Wiley?  Sales of single-family homes in the St. Louis Metro area took some  “Baby Steps” in a positive direction when compared with the same month last year according to today’s Post Dispatch and Tim Logan.  In fact, metro area prices were up by 5%. Most of the gain was from the St. Charles County area.

Is it enough to spark the local St. Louis real estate market?  Who knows?  We’ll take good news when we can get it!  Bob, with all of his problems, blossomed when he started his “Baby Steps” therapy. Let’s hope our local market does too!

St. Louis Home Prices in December

When you take a look at sales for the year we are down about 11% according to the numbers gathered by the Post-Dispatch.  This is pretty much the same nationally according to the National Association of Realtors.
