Is That a Violinist in My Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream?

Haagen-Dazs Concerto Timer AppHaagen-Dazs Concerto App Delivers a Virtual Reality Concert to Your Ice Cream

I can’t believe that an app got me to go out and buy some Haagen-Dazs.
This week the company launched its Concerto Timer app that became one of the first IOS programs that integrates an Augmented or Virtual Reality experience into an actual product. I had to try it …

How Concerto Works with Haagen-Dazs

Well, first of all, you have to understand ice cream.  Any aficionado knows that ice cream needs a time to “temper” to soften it ,and bring out the flavor usually in about 2 minutes.

So what do you do in those 2 minutes? You simply point your iPhone at the ice cream lid and a ghost-like image of a violinist emerges and begins to play. By the time you’ve listened to the rendition of Bach’s Inventions No.14,  your ice cream has reached its optimal state for consumption. You think I’m kidding?   Watch the video below for our personal experiment:

Downlobeead Concerto – Eat Haagen Dazs – Save the Bees

You don’t have to feel guilty for eating ice cream. You can actually save bees and bee colonies by indulging yourself.

For every download of the Concerto Timer app Haagen Dazs is donating $5.00 to honeybee research at the University of California Davis (where else?) As of this post there has been about $75,000 donated.

So get the app, buy some Haagen Dazs, start your own concert on the lid … and save the bees!

For those of you thinking, “I thought this was a real estate blog” … well it is.  It’s just that it’s still summer … and we’re talking about ice cream.
