It might surprise you to find out that the top five safest cities in Missouri are located in St. Louis County according to The National Council for Home Safety and Security.
In their annual list of states with towns with the least amount of violent and non-violent crimes per population all stats point to St. Louis County.
NCHSS conducted their study by using the the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting tool and comparing it with their internal research. The cities they studied had to have a population of over 10,000 residents and the city had to have filed completed crime reports with the FBI. The NCHSS is a national trade association made of security companies. Here’s the Top Five Safest Cities in Missouri and the homes that are for sale currently in each community.
