1000 singles were recently surveyed by Harris Interactive regarding their preferences in the dating selection process.
Here’s the results:
- More than a 1/3 of all women stated they would prefer dating a home owner instead of a renter.
- 18% of men said they would rather date a home owner
- Only 2% of females said they preferred dating someone who rents
- Only 3% of men saith that they preferred dating a renter
Is Having a Roomate Detrimental to Your Dating Life?
No brainer here. 62% of both men and women preferred not having a roomate in the picture.
The Ultimate Deal Breaker When It Comes to Dating
Less than 5% of the singles surveyed said they would ever date someone who was still living in their childhood home with their parents. Ouch!
This is a problem when you consider the current economy and the number of boomerang young adults forced back into their parent’s homes. We know that Mom and Dad will always love you … but this is the kiss of death when it comes to dating!
Home Features Most Attractive to Singles
Notice how the master bathroom ranks high with both men and women, while hot tubs are really a non-starter. Apparently more men seem to be interested in cooking as reflected in their preference for a gourmet kitchen.
